Imperium is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Dept. The Emergency Room Nurse is responsible for assessing, prioritizing, and delivering care to patients who present to the emergency department with urgent medical needs.

Details/Requirements

  • Triage: Conduct initial assessments of patients to determine the severity of their conditions and prioritize care based on the urgency of medical needs.
  • Patient Assessment: Perform thorough assessments, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and conducting physical examinations to identify medical emergencies and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Medical Interventions: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, including starting IV lines, administering fluids, medications, and performing emergency procedures.
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, intervening promptly to address any changes or complications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, responses to treatment, and communication in electronic medical records, adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
  • Minimum 2 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required depending on the setting.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently in a high-stress environment.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
