Imperium is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex system architectures that support enterprise operations and technical innovation. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, scalability, security, and performance across infrastructure, applications, and integrated platforms.
Design and architect scalable, secure system infrastructures
Lead system integration efforts across hardware, software, and network components
Oversee implementation of enterprise IT systems and cloud platforms
Perform system modeling, simulation, and performance analysis
Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, and procedures
Lead root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting efforts
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, regulatory, and quality standards
Collaborate with DevOps, cybersecurity, engineering, and product teams
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Manage system lifecycle from requirements through deployment and sustainment
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
7+ years of systems engineering experience
Strong knowledge of system architecture and integration principles
Experience with Windows/Linux server environments
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing)
Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
Strong analytical and documentation skills
